At the core of our learning is God's Word. Daily classroom devotions and weekly chapels strengthen our students in their Christian faith. In addition, Bible is a mandatory elective, offering a series of studies intended to challenge our students in kingdom principles. It is our desire that our students will graduate not only with the academic skills needed for a successful college life, but also with the spiritual tools to have an understanding of a biblical worldview.
The secondary faculty at University Christian School is doing more than just making sure that the students learn the required subjects. They magnify Christ and offer a testimony that challenges and molds our high school students. A vibrant faith walk by the faculty encourages students to seek what they possess. The UCS staff sees themselves accomplishing more than imparting knowledge; they are helping students to be discerning and to internalize their faith.
At UCS, preparation for high school begins in our middle school program. Each year of middle school builds on the previous year in each academic area. Below, you see the requirements that our students begin working on during their high school years.
